FOUNDER & LEAD DIRECTOR

Dima is a London-based music professional, DJ, producer and radio host with over five years of experience in the international music industry, including working for a global music distribution company. His creative practice spans electronic music, DJing, radio and community-led projects, with performances at Southbank Centre and Glastonbury Festival, a residency at AAJA Radio, and guest broadcasts across Worldwide FM, Sister Midnight, Voices Radio and We Out Here Festival.

Drawing on his own experience of forced migration and navigating the UK creative industry, Dima founded Crossfade to challenge the barriers faced by displaced and migrant artists. His work focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for creative development, collaboration and leadership, ensuring that people are not simply given access to existing spaces but have the agency, confidence and resources to shape those spaces themselves.

CO-DIRECTOR & ASSOCIATE ARTIST

Shaden is a Middle Eastern queer DJ and community-focused creative performing as DJ Shahrorah. Her sound moves between Afrobeats, Brazilian funk, Middle Eastern influences and darker club sounds, bringing together different cultures, rhythms and energies on the dancefloor.

As Co-Director and Associate Artist, Shaden brings her creative perspective and commitment to Crossfade’s values of inclusion, representation and creative freedom. She supports the development and delivery of Crossfade’s activities, helping create welcoming and collaborative spaces where displaced and migrant artists can explore their creativity, build confidence and connect with others.

DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEAD

George is a Designated Safeguarding Lead at Crossfade, supporting the organisation’s approach to wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusive community engagement. His role focuses on ensuring that Crossfade’s activities provide a safe, respectful and supportive environment where participants feel heard, valued and able to engage on their own terms.
